Strife, Crystal bow is a weapon. It's supposed to be used. And Fight Pit swapping isn't against rules. If you get C bow'ed, try using it against him? Crystal bow is allowed.

On top of what z said the crystal bow is a npc drop which can be obtained in the world 1 teleport
